但好消息是即使是淡季

[談判]終於讓老闆點頭辦H1B嚕
辛苦奮鬥了一年半
從談實習到拿offer
到談薪水談分帳到正式透過律師辦H1B工作簽證
達到一個皆大歡喜的平衡點
只能說談判實在太重要啦~
目前律師手續還沒完全完成
但已經只差簽字跟幾個小手續
其他都已經大致完成
但是行百里者半九十

只是想个各位CDer们讨论一下，自己已经拿到了好几家mba的TA。学校排名不高60-100名之间，自己还要补1万刀的其他花费吧。位置在美国中部，南部。大家对无工作经验读后的前景都不太看好，我还是会去读的。我感觉美国既然是一个melting pot，只要有心是会融入这个社会的。我去后打算去在学习上读双学位或者读cpa,工作上intern尽量弥补一下自己的短板，多收集信息，争取工作。

大学是211外语院校，大学荒废gpa2.5，学校比较严格，据说不能删除成绩不好的科目。
工作1年半，第一个工作公司不正规，8个月时辞职。第二个工作是外企协会，做两个部门总监的助理，干了一年，其间机遇不错，得到给500强企业的销售人员做职业道德培训的机会，这可能是工作经验中唯一的亮点了。
但由于每个周末都飞各个城市培训，搞的我身体很疲惫并且根本没有时间复习GT。所以头脑一热在年前辞了职，准备专心备考，争取用好的GT成绩弥补GPA的不足。6月的G，7月的T。如果考完再找个工作的话，中间也出现了8个月的GAP。
另：本来打算自己出去，后来BF怕我出去后两个人会分开，毅然决定和我一起出国，要知道，他中科院工科硕士马上毕业，但是美国不承认中国的硕士，他出去意味着还要读5年的书，他家里穷，本想国内硕士毕业后工作挣钱的---总之，他为了我牺牲了很多。这时候问题又来了，他读5年，我2年，如果我申不到好的学校，估计很难毕业后在那边找到工作，那样的话我们就又要分开了，而且这次分开是三年！
至此，坛子里面问的最多的问题基本上都集中到我的身上了。
哈哈，人生啊~~
发此贴的目的一是鼓励那些因为各种问题而郁闷的同志，小妹我这样还继续在这条路上坚定地走着，因为相信自己的能力，因为心里，还有希望；二是求高人指点迷津，现在除了复习GT，我还应该做点，申请什么RANK的学校比较靠谱，什么以后的路，怎样才能走得更顺利。

you won't get another promotion due to any degree
the only way is to find your passion and stick to it
job also depends on characteristics
if you feel boring about the routine task
you should find some way out
but mba alone won't help you on that
since you'll still don't know where to go
find out your underlying drivers for management and market or PR
define specifically
make it realistic
and then improve yourself
it doesn't necessarily be mba
find out your real reasons
it's not sustainable so far
btw, the work experience is way too short
if you don't know much about business and management yet
then you won't learn much

The reason for MBA education is a switch of career -- by working as an application engineer, I've gained much experience in world wide collaboration and leading customer's project to mass production. At the same time, a great interest and enthusiam for business development and general management deeply root and burgeon. Without a well-rounded knowledge base and management experience, I find myself somewhat reaching a bottleneck for my career advancement.
As my interest in MBA education is general management, international business, and consulting, I'd sincerely appreciate anyone evaluate my profile and suggest b-schools. I am currently considering TOP 20, preferably TOP 10 if my profile looks competitive enough.

you need to go at least 2 to 3 levels down to explain the details
general management is good but the same situation
and general management comflicts somewhat with consulting
also what exactly "a well-rounded knowledge base and management experience" is?
and what specific courses you need to take and why
you'll have to explain these details to get into those tops.
